Introduction
Tailor on Tap is seeking Style Consultants to share their passion for bespoke clothing with clients in the Washington D.C. area. Our customers include anyone from high school and college students looking for their first custom-made suit to leaders of corporations and universities looking to partner with a bespoke clothing manufacturer to offer custom clothing to students and employees.
What does a Style Consultant for Tailor On Tap do?
Our Style Consultants work directly with their customers to ensure that all clothing is tailored to exacting standards, while helping the client to achieve a look as individual as they are. From three-piece suits to custom shirts, from dresses to denim, our Style Consultants work with customers every step of the process to create one-of-a-kind pieces and wardrobes. This is achieved by:
Developing relationships, managing leads, and creating a pipeline to generate revenue growth for the organization continuously.
Communicating with clients in store and prospects via phone, email, and social media to set appointments.
Guiding our clients through the custom-clothing experience; helping them to sort through fabrics, pockets, buttons, embroideries, and every other detail that goes into ultimately handcrafting a bespoke garment.
Maintaining proper data within the CRM to maximize quality calls with prospects, leading to sales for the organization.
What does it take to be a Style Consultant with Tailor On Tap?
We are looking for folks with a strong work ethic, drive, and sales and technical know-how to join our Sales Team. But more specifically:

Ability to build your own book of business and generate leads while not relying on showroom walk-ins to meet sales expectations
Outgoing, extroverted personality

Passion for fashion and personal styling
Experience in tailoring or measuring for custom clothing
Impeccable communication skills
Strong sales skills and persuasion abilities
Good time management
Reliable and dependable
Prior B2B sales experience is mandatory
